Greg Richards

Managing Director, Co-Founder


Greg Richards has more than 20 years of strategy, marketing, innovation, engineering, and economics consulting experience for companies including Model N, IDEO, Hewlett Packard, and Microsoft.

At Keystone, Greg has managed hundreds of engagements with Fortune 500 companies across industries including consumer products, software, online services, and semiconductors and has delivered projects ranging from ecosystem analysis to process innovation. He has overseen Keystone as CEO through continuous growth since inception, opening offices in San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Abu Dhabi.

Greg started his career as a robotics engineer for a subsidiary of IDEO where he led large engineering development teams for numerous film industry products and developed patented breakthroughs in "Steady Cam" technology that now dominate hand-held motion picture photography. In 1999, Greg co-founded and later sold
Mambo / Dynamic Transactions, Inc. which developed an online invitations site for planning events, and internet payment software for emailing money from bank accounts. In 2001, Greg joined Model N, Inc., an enterprise software company where he led the product marketing and management teams in building enterprise contract-management and pricing software applications (Model N software powers the contract and pricing processes of Fortune 500 firms, including J&J, Guidant, Medtronic and others).

Beyond his current role at Keystone, Greg is an investor in and sits on the Board of Directors of Evolve on Demand, a rapidly growing SaaS provider which delivers behavioral science applications that identify and match the most talented recruits with high quality employers. Greg is also an investor and advisor to other new ventures, including Integrity Square (a boutique financial and strategic advisory group), Revenue Cycle Solutions (the leading hospital receivables management outsourcing company in the United States, serving more than 200 healthcare providers), and Constitutional Concepts (a branding and concept licensing company that created Liberty Bistro, a restaurant brand providing contemporary American cuisine).

Greg is an active member of the New York City chapter of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization). Greg holds a BS in Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MS in Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
