Before Keystone
My career began in technology. After getting a PhD in Applied Physics, I joined a start-up focused on developing optical switching technologies. I experienced the boom and bust in the telecommunications market in the early 2000s, and decided I wanted to better understand the interrelationship of technology and business (so I could help avoid the “ bust” part of my firm’ s experience in the future), and went back to school get an MBA. Upon graduation I chose Management Consulting to gain exposure to a wide range of business challenges in a short period of time.
Why Keystone
Prior to joining Keystone, I was a Manager at a "Big Three" consulting firm, focused primarily in the Health Care, Industrial Good and Financial Services sectors. While I enjoyed the work tremendously, I felt the urge to get back to my start-up technology roots. I joined Keystone to work on some of the most cutting edge strategic issues in the R&D and technology sectors and to do so with incredibly talented and energetic teammates. In addition, I was attracted to the opportunity to contribute to the firm's rapid growth.
My Experience
Since joining Keystone, I have led projects in the technology space including cloud computing, smart grid technology, and mobile search. My most recent work has been with a Fortune 50 software client to evaluate the impact of a new product launch on complementary product offerings and the implications for overall portfolio strategy. In addition to client work, I have had a direct impact on Keystone’ s growth by enhancing our project execution processes and consultant development programs.
